Insurance and Billing
We are currently In-Network with the following insurance plans:
- Delta Dental PPO/Premier
- Premier Dental Group
- United Healthcare PPO
With increasing complexities in the insurance landscape and to better streamline claim submissions, beginning January 2023 our office will be asking for payment of service at the time of service for all out of network claims. This also eliminates the "guesstimate" of your co-pay utilizing an out of network insurance company. As a courtesy to our patients, we will continue to submit your insurance claims, both in and out of network for you. What is the difference? If you are utilizing an out of network insurance carrier, It simply means you will pay the office fee payment at the time of your visit, we submit your claim to your insurance company and your insurance company reimburses YOU, they send YOU the check, rather than our office.
In Network Policy: Our policy remains the same. Any amount estimated not to be covered by your insurance is due as services are rendered. This is your estimated co-pay. Any additional amounts not paid by your insurance will be due immediately upon billing. We are not responsible for any limitations in coverage that may be included in your plan. You are responsible for knowing the details of your specific dental plan. All charges you incur are your responsibility regardless of your insurance coverage.
It's important to understand that most dental benefit plans do not cover all dental procedures. Sometimes you may have a dental care need that is not covered by your plan. Employers generally choose to cover some, but not all of employees' dental costs. Your insurance policy is a contract between you, your employer and the insurance company. The amount of benefits you receive will depend on the quality of the plan purchased by yourself or your employer.
We accept checks, cash or credit cards. We also offer a flexible payment plan. Please see our Financial Coordinator for details. We are happy to file insurance for your reimbursement as long as you are free to choose your own
